Who are we?
In the fall of 2023, our journey began at the University of Amsterdam, as a group of three students immersed in the entrepreneurship minor. We wanted to build a business that had a positive impact on our community and city as a whole.
Inspired by the shifting attitudes among locals of what Amsterdam should be, we set out with a dual purpose: to empower consumers the opportunity to dine at local restaurants while collaborating with restaurants to sustain promotions.
Mission
Our mission is to reinvigorate Amsterdam’s dining-out culture by making it more affordable and accessible for consumers. The Disq Discount Card is our tool to achieve this, offering valuable discounts that encourage residents and visitors to explore and support the diverse local restaurants that define the city’s culinary landscape.
Vision
We are dedicated to fostering a symbiotic relationship between consumers and restaurants, ensuring that dining out is not only a choice but an attractive and viable option for all. By strengthening the bond between businesses and consumers, we aim to build a sustainable dining experience whereby the city’s culinary talent is highlighted.
